When it comes to Andaman, what we imagine is the small few dots in the region of the bay of Bengal sea in our political map of India. When we first read about Andaman in our geography, since then it was our destination to visit.
The silver sparkling sand, blue pristine water, and mangroves are the major attractions. But water is the major thing we like if we are excited to start our journey to Andaman. You will have delicious seafood and experience my time in its white sand. Andaman is also famous for its diverse flora and fauna because of its evergreen forest.
About the Destination
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Is a splendid island in the Bay of Bengal. Years before it was range of mountainous hills extending from Myanmar to Indonesia, 572 picturesque undulating islands. All these are covered with dense rain-fed,and evergreen forests with endless varieties of flora and fauna.
It has the widest varieties of fauna especially birds counting from many endangered species of hummingbirds. Birds such as the Andaman Wood Pigeon as the state bird, the Andaman Padauk is a state tree, and the Dugong as the state animal of Andaman.There in total 96 Wildlife Sanctuaries, 09 National Parks, and 01 Biosphere Reserve in the islands.
Which gives Andaman a high rank in its diversity. It is also declared an eco-friendly tourist place. So why not give it a chance to visit there. It is no less than any other international tourist destination.
Corbyn Cove Beach
Corbyn’s Cove beach is one of the most famous beaches of port Blair in the south district of Andaman Nicobar. Corbyn’s cove beach is famous for the coconut and palm-fringed beach which is 06 kilometers away from Port Blair. It is ideal for swimming in blue waters and sun-basking with the natural breeze.
Facilities that are available at the beach are hotels with nice cuisine. Or you can try famous, restaurants, bars for some chilled beer. And a changing room after having some fun in the water. Adventure water sports are also available here. Historical remains such as Japanese Bunkers can be spotted on the way to the beach. If you are interested in Scuba diving then you must visit Snake island.
Radhanagar Beach
If you didn’t visit this beach then you missed all the charm of Andaman. Bluewater and deep oceans. All this nature will definitely make you a philosopher long away from the chaotic life of the city. The thing you will hear is just the sound of the ocean and the shooting breeze.
Andaman will give you a different beach for each, but let’s start our journey with Asia’s best beach. And the world’s 8th best beach– Radhnagar. Sounds very holistic right? But it’s more than that. It is also ranked 12th for the most stunning place to watch the sunset. So you should definitely give a first-hand try to experience this beauty.
You can choose to swim in the pristine blue sparkling water, or you can choose to sit and relax. You will see so many crabs crawling on the sand of the beach. The best thing about the beach is to feel the running sand below your feet. Here we understand that nothing is eternal. After watching the sunset the first thing that will bang is, nature has blessed so much beauty to Andaman and its beaches.
Kala Pathar Beach
Beaches are also famous for their breathtaking sunrises, so why not experience one in the morning at 4:oo o clock? To experience this, let’s go to Kala Patthar beach which is at the tip of the island. To travel at these odd times and to experience road life you can hire a two-wheeler which will give you the feel of independence. So after reaching there sunrise might keep you waiting but we are sure it is worth it. Catch this sunrise and watch the entire island basks in the sunlight.
Bharatpur Beach
Bharatpur beach is situated about five hundred meters from the jetty. You can easily find Bharatpur beach with help of vendors or locals. It is famous for stretchy sand trails and also for swimming and sun basking. People who don’t know swimming or are non-swimmers can also take a dip because the water is shallow and less risky. There are coral reefs visible at low tides.
